Hoosta says :

perfect small hotel
I had spent almost 2 full days doing internet searches on small hotels in Paris and stumbled across the Relais Madeleine. We were not disappointed. Room for 2 was not as small as the usual room in Paris the staff were wonderful and the breakfast down in the renovated cellar with old 60s signed pictures of pop stars fun. We stayed 6 nights- only negative was wireless a little unreliable.
The location is wonderful – I guess in part because I like the Opera Garnier/Grands Magasins area. But do not get tempted to eat at the restaurant at Fauchon! it was truely terrible plus expensive. there is a nice small brasserie on place de la madeleine- Brasserie Colibri or something like that.

“Ideal hotel for a quick trip to Paris”
This charming hotel was a perfect choice and the rate was very reasonable. While our room was small, it overlooked the courtyard which gave us a quiet sleep. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. My only complaint was the lack of good lighting in the bathroom.
We were happy to be on the first floor because the elevator was broken.
We had the continental breakfast there one day and it was perfect. We were even offered soft boiled eggs.
All employees were extremely nice and helpful. The location is perfect and would stay there again.
