Cool economical boutique hotel in a great location
If you are traveling to Paris and enjoy a hip but economical hotel without all of the useless amenities that you probably don’t use anyway, then try this hotel.

Our room, #33, was the typical small Parisian hotel room, but everything was still very nice. The first plus was the free in-room internet on a Mac. The second, the linens were all very crisp and fresh; third, the tiny (but modern) bathroom was super clean, and finally, the design of the room itself was also fairly hip -which makes the simple hotel fun. If you chose to, you could have breakfast in the small dining room on the first level, but we chose to venture out and find new places to eat everyday.

The only drawback to the hotel was a little noise from the neighbor’s entering or leaving their room, and a little more from the cleaning staff in the morning.

Overall, for the price this turned out to be an excellent choice on our part. The staff was always friendly and willing to help us if we needed assistance in deciphering anything (since our French is more than limited).

Location, location, location! Enough…
Location, location, location! Enough said. Apart from that the hotel is very nice but I personally found that our room was nothing really special, just some nice wallpaper on a normal room…and that’s it. Yes there are Macs in all the rooms but the cables are not hidden and it’s not possible to plug in your own iPod or iPhone, so what’s the point? The reception, corridors and breakfast room are all lovely however I was left disappointed by the unimaginative room. That said I would recommend it for a night and as I said, location is everything.

could not ask for more!
Just returned from a wonderful nine night stay at this hotel. The staff couldn’t be more helpful and friendly and they really made us welcome for the duration of our stay.

We had read reviews saying the rooms were small but it’s Paris, you expect a smaller than normal room for the privilege of staying in one of the old buildings! However, we were there for 9 nights so were worried that we would maybe feel a bit boxed in but we didn’t feel claustrophobic or get cabin fever at all! We have stayed in cheaper hotels in the area and more expensive ones as well and the rooms have all been of similar size but I have found this room the most comfortable by a long way, the A/C definitely helps! There is also an iMac in each room which is handy for the internet to check restaurants/sightseeing etc…

The location of the hotel is perfect, lots of lovely restaurants within a short walk and several transport links within 10 minutes. We got the RER from CDG airport to Luxembourg station and it was a short 5-10 minute walk to the hotel.

Could not recommend this hotel enough!
