I wouldn’t possibly be able to praise this hotel enough to match up to the service received, the cleanliness of the hotel, the rooms and so on!!

My partner booked this hotel for a trip to Paris for my birthday, it is right on a metro station literally a few mins walk away so even though some people may say that its slightly outside of the centre it really doesn’t matter as the metro is so easy to use and it never took us very long to get anywhere, when we went into the hotel we were greeted by extremely friendly staff who accommodated all of our needs, we were given a room on the top floor which was absolutely lovely and the staff were so helpful!! The owner knew the answers to every single question we asked and even booked us a fabulous restaurant designed by Phillipe Starck overlooking the river for my birthday meal.

Our flight was then cancelled on the Friday due to the issues with the Iceland Volcano and they were more than accommodating told us to ring them from the airport if it was cancelled and they will sort us a room out to return to the hotel, we did exactly that and they even upgraded our room for our additional 2 night stay. When our flights were cancelled again on the Saturday they allowed us access to their internet late at night as we didn’t have a laptop with us to allow us to find an alternative route home.

All in all an excellent stay and if only all hotels could match up to the standards of the Grand Hotel Francais there would never be a negative review on here!! If you are going to stay in Paris believe me stay here!! :)

I booked this hotel for a mini honeymoon based on the other reviews from Trip advisor and was not disappointed! The hotel is located 2min walk from rue des boulets metro station which is great to use for seeing the sights. The rooms were small but you don’t go toParis to stay in the hotel room! They have all you need: free safety deposit box, fridge, hair dryer, large flat screen tv… list goes on! Also, they were very clean. Breakfast was usual continental style and plentiful. The most impressive aspect of this hotel is the staff – very polite and helpful. I would definately recommend this hotel.

“fantastic pick for our paris weekend”
You do go to paris knowing that rooms are known for being tiny. Albeit tiny though, our room was nice with a very comfortable bed and fantastic showers. The hotel owner was extremely helpful in both english and german to our many many questions and the local restaurants he recommended rounded off the visit well. I would very much recommend it! And a little tip if arriving charles de gaulle – on the way back to the airport we took the local bus 351 from ‘nation’ which took just under an hour and made the journey very straightforward, i would advise checking it out for bringing you to the hotel as well.
