The entertainment area includes plasma screen television, Austar and high speed internet. Luxurious bathrooms with separate freestanding bath, separate shower and timber louvers for natural light. Sliding screens with flexible furniture arrangements provide alternate sleeping options. California king-beds ensure dreamtime really does exist. IDD and ISD telephone, clock radio, hairdryer, iron and board complete the inclusions and comfortable furniture ensures a stylish finish.
  The use of timber and river rock in the stunning open design of the main building allows guests to relax and feel at one with nature. Spa away your aches, stroll to the beach. Play tennis. Swim.   Head Chef Gavin Hughes has been with the Byron at Byron since it’s opening, having moved to the area in 2003. Gavin’s impressive background includes Chef positions at Aqua Luna, The Bathers Pavilion and Aqua Dining in Sydney. Prior to moving to Australia, Gavin trained and then worked in his homeland of Scotland in the country’s finest restaurants. These include the Michelin starred and AA awarded Inverlochy Castle Hotel, 1 Devonshire Gardens and The Airds Hotel.
  

  With soaring ceilings, bi-fold doors opening out to a wide terrace overlooking lush lawns, pool and the picturesque rainforest The Restaurant at The Byron is a quintessential Byron Bay experience. Whether you choose an al fresco lunch overlooking the magnificent rainforest, a snack by the pool or a cosy candlelit dinner for two, The Restaurant offers the freshest local produce and imaginative dishes. Ingredients are regularly sourced from nearby farmers markets and local suppliers and the innovative menu makes the most of this seasonal produce.
