Charming and historic, this boutique-style hotel was built in the 18th century (with alterations in the 19th c.) as a patio-centered three-story private home that's about as Sevillian as you can get. Today the patio that for many generations remained open to the sky is covered with a Victorian-inspired glass-and-iron canopy, allowing the courtyard to be plushly furnished with kilim carpets and wicker chairs that gracefully show off a ring of delicate granite columns.
This tavern now houses one of the single most charming places to stay in the city. This restored 19th-century mansion has a spectacular central patio and a romantic atmosphere. The units on the third floor have balconies overlooking street scenes as well as whirlpool tubs.
The building envelops an old atrium and is filled with such touches as family photographs, Oriental area rugs, a marble fireplace, and floral print love seats.
The decoration, the water from our fountain, the scents and the flavour of our moorish tapas introduce our hosts in a climate of relax and pleasure that counteracts the stress caused by the city.
Within are a beautifully ornate staircase and a patio full of tropical plants. The social areas are chic and comfortable, and the lounge displays bric-a-brac belonging to the original mansion.
